Dr. Sreedath Panat completed his Bachelors and Masters with Honors from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) with the institute silver medal for being the topper of his department in 2017. His specialization was in Intelligent Manufacturing.

Post that, he moved to Boston in the USA to pursue his PhD at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He worked on various cutting-edge technologies at the intersection of sustainability, interfacial engineering, and Artificial Engineering. His research at MIT has earned him various prestigious awards including Carl G Sontheimer Prize for Design (2022), Langmuir Award (2022), Best Paper Award at MIT Applied Energy Symposium (2020), the Best Poster Award at MIT deFlorez Competition (2022) and more.

Dr. Panat is well known for his invention of AI-powered self-cleaning technology for solar panels, which was heavily featured on MIT news and also featured in various international and US news and science outlets. He also spearheaded his team to win the highest non-dilutive prize money ($500k) in the biggest student business pitch competition in the world - Rice University Business Plan Competition (2020). Dr. Panat also led his team to be runners at MIT 100k business pitch competition (2020) to won $50k in prize money.

Dr. Panat has co-founded Vizuara AI Labs; which aims at making AI education and technologies accessible to everyone including school students, university students, and industry professionals.

Dr. Panat is also an active figure in the AI, education, science, and entrepreneurship space with more than 75,000 LinkedIn followers.
